How to Make Small Boobs Look Bigger

Ever wish your breasts could be just a bit larger? You're not alone. Many women feel unhappy with their breast size at one time or another, and it can be easy to lose sight of the big picture. If you're a teen, for example, it's important to understand that everyone's breasts develop at different times and at different rates. Even if your breasts are fully matured, think (at least) twice before deciding to go under the knife. Instead, try these tips to make your breasts look bigger. And remember, there are countless men out there that can appreciate breasts that don't quite measure up to Pamela Anderson's!

Steps
  • Get properly fitted. Lingerie stores such as Victoria's Secret will usually measure you for free. An ill-fitting bra won't unleash your full potential! It's also an option to measure your bra size by yourself. Remember this is a starting point, not an absolute size.

  • Get a push-up or padded bra. Push-up bras push your cleavage together to enhance your breasts, and padded bras add heft to your breasts. Some bras have both these features.

  • Gel bras, air bras, and water bras work in the same way, but they may move better with your breasts to appear more natural, and you may find them more comfortable.

  • Get inserts. Foam, air, and gel inserts are made to be inserted into your bra. The effect is much like that of a push-up or padded bra, but you may be able to use inserts in combination with special bras (if you do so, make sure it looks right and doesn't appear unnatural or fit too tightly). Silicone inserts are worn directly on the exterior of the breasts--as opposed to being inserted into a bra--and look more natural than other inserts.

  • Wear your bra properly. The bottom of your bra should be underneath your breasts. Just lifting your bra under your breasts makes them look at least a cup size bigger.

  • Choose tops that enhance your breasts.

  • T-shirts: Get tees with high, asymmetrical necklines. If you have slender arms, sleeveless t-shirts will draw your attention to them and give the illusion of a larger bust. Stay away from deep v-necks or very low scoop-necks, although vees are better than scoops. Tighter fitting tops are better too.

  • Blouses: A fitted blouse with a narrow v-neck will accentuate your bust. Ruffles, lace, breast pockets, and wide lapels will also give the illusion of having larger breasts. Stay away from blouses that are too big or flowing.

  • Exercise. Exercise won't give you larger breasts, but strengthening and toning the muscles beneath your bust can lift your breasts slightly. Perkier breasts will give the illusion of being larger.

  • Cross Your Bra Straps. In the back of your bra (behind, where it clasps) unhook the two straps and switch the little loophole they're fastened in. This will pull up your breasts, and make them look larger!

Tips

  • Avoid stuffing your bra with materials like toilet paper, cloth, etc. They can fall out (which is VERY embarrassing) and they can give your breasts a lumpy, unnatural appearance. Bra inserts are always the best way to go.

  • Get a reality check! Sometimes, you just think your boobs look too small, when actually, people envy them! Take a moment to figure out for yourself whether you just have low self-esteem, or if you really do have small breasts. Also, check with someone honest who will tell you the truth about your boobs. If they still feel too small to you, then follow the steps and tips.

  • Going to the beach? Swimsuits with padding or underwires are available, and bikini tops with triangular cups tend to accentuate your cleavage.

  • Try not to buy too big of a bra, but also don't buy bras too tight, and don't let your breasts hang over the cups--just make them fit in nicely.

  • When trying on bras, put your blouse on over the bra to make sure that it's comfortable and looks natural.

  • When wearing a low-cut shirt, brush a little bit of eyeshadow on the side of your breast in your cleavage.

  • High-estrogen birth control pills can temporarily enlarge your breasts, but this doesn't happen for everybody, and you should always consider all the potential side effects of any medication before using it.

  • If you want to get firmer breasts without the extra sweat from exercising, massage around your breasts to get the blood circulation flowing, firming and filing your boobs.

  • It is good to know that your body fat content plays a major role in the size of your breasts. If you have a low body fat content, and a sporty figure, you will probably also have smaller breasts. However, for many, many men (also some of the guys you like), the size of the boobs is not that important. Being nice and self-confident is.

Warnings

  • Be careful of bra inserts; especially if you have very small breasts, because they can shift and slide around quite a lot during the course of your day. Be sure you regularly (and discreetly) check them to make sure they are tucked in and not on the verge of falling out.
  • Don't try anything too drastic, like surgery, without first consulting your doctor and, if you're a teen, your parents.
  • If you feel that cosmetic surgery is right for you, be entirely sure that this is what you really want. All surgeries are life-threatening, so be very picky about which surgeon you will go to, and consider counseling if you are really unhappy with your body.
  • Beware herbal supplements that claim to enhance breasts. Some of these may in fact work, but a lot of them are gimmicks or even dangerous.
  • Taking doses of estrogen above what your body naturally provides increases your breast cancer risk.

Things You'll Need

  • Push-up or padded bras, inserts
  • Push-up bra
  • Blouses that work to your advantage
  • Confidence

How to Add Bling To Your Cell Phone

Does your cell phone look like everybody elses? If so you may be interested in decorating your phone with rhinestones. Many people call this bling, slang for owning or creating personal accessories that are jeweled, bright and attractive. Here's how to decorate your cell phone.

Steps

  • Go to a store like Wal-Mart or any craft store, look for assorted rhinestones on sale. Rhinestones and other stones and decorations come in a variety of styles, qualities and colors. Choose those that match your taste and budget.
  • Develop a pattern or design plan. Use paper and pencil if you wish, or just explore different designs on a hard surface. Possible patterns and designs include: all one color, stripes, diagonal, your initials — anything you want. Put as much thought and preparation into the planning of your design as possible, as this saves time in the long run.
  • Clear a large amount of time and set up your equipment in a safe place where you can leave it and come back to it.
  • If you purchased the stick on rhinestones, just peel of the tape and stick it to the surface of your phone in the correct position.
  • Using the glue gun, quickly put a dab of glue on the rhinestone and hold it on your phone for 5 seconds to make sure it's firmly in place.
  • Let your phone rest at room temperature for 5 minutes and don't touch it.
Stroke your fingers over the stones after the five minutes are up, to make sure they don't fall, if they do, replace them.

Tips

  • Considering buying the stick-on Rhinstones. These products allow you to just peel the tape off the back and you ready to go. In addition they are far easier to remove than glued items.
  • When planning your design try downloading a picture of your phone from the Internet and printing it out as a template to use.
  • Adding rhinestones may take awhile to do. Make sure you have the time to do it.
  • If you do not care for rhinestones try a beading store, they will have a great many small shiny things you can glue.

Warnings

  • If you are using a hot glue gun make sure you turn it off when you are done. Watch out for gluing your fingers together.
  • When using a glue gun make sure to read the instructions carefully and to follow all saftey procedures.
  • Other glues, like SuperGlue, will also work for this.
  • The stick-ons can get caught in your hair while you are on the phone.

Things You'll Need

  • Rhinestones
  • Cell phone or other hard surface
  • Glue or glue gun
  • Imagination or a sense of design
  • A sketch of the perfect design for your cell.

How to Get a Great Tattoo Design

Choosing a tattoo should be a thorough process. They are intended to be forever, and removal is expensive. The more planning that goes into your design of choice, the more likely that you will enjoy your tattoo later in life.

Steps
  • Be happy with what design you have on your body. As long as you like it, that's the most important thing. That being said, there are factors that can make you love or hate your tattoo.
  • Find a design that has meaning for you. Even if you cannot draw, a little practice and patience can get you a good outline, at least. Most tattoo artists will help you redraw and redesign a tattoo.
  • Find an artist or designer and ask them to make you a custom design for you. Many tattoo artists are also convential artists, or can at least reproduce a traditional drawing, sketch or painting onto your skin.
  • Find a style that you especially like, and an artist that works in that style. Most artists will do what you want, but also excel in certain "looks." Check portfolios, and compare old school, new school, naturalistic, asian, B&W, etc.
  • Writing, in any form or language, should be thought over twice as long. Check and recheck the meanings of any words or idiograms of a language you aren't fluent in. Choose quotes carefully. Search for a font you like, or create your own.
  • Consider carefully what body part you want your tattoo on. Some places you'll look at it every day, some almost never. Consider how likely it will be that you will need to cover it with clothing or otherwise at some point.
  • Try to get a printout of the design, and see how the design will fit against your skin.
Use henna to get a temporary version of the design. You won't be able to see different colors, or certain looks, but you will be able to judge the feeling of a tattoo. Henna lasts a week to a month.
  • Think about it alot. When you are certain, wait some more time. Just to make sure.

Tips

  • Think back to 10 years ago. If you had gotten a tattoo back then, what would it most likely have been? If you don't like the idea of having that on your body, don't get a tattoo now. Chances are, in 10 years, you'll regret getting it.
  • The number one tattoos that artists are asked to cover up, after homemade tattoos, are NAMES. If the person is not dead, or your child, names are usually not the best idea.
Asian characters are a popular choice, as it is a way to get a meaning in a design. The tattoo studio walls are not the place to trust when looking for a character. Many have double meanings, nuances, things that may give an impression that wasn't intended.
Often members of a family will get matching or complimentary tattoos. Often, younger generations will incorporate elements of older family members tattoos in their own designs.
  • A band, TV show, or comic book character you love today may not be something you want to carry around forever on your skin.
  • Don't be afraid to get a tattoo that doesn't have a deep meaning if you love the design. If you love Winnie the Pooh enough to look at him forever, get that pooh bear.
  • Feet, hands, and faces need more touch-ups, and more attention to heal properly. Expect to pay more for these areas. Some artists refuse to do facial or hand tattoos on a person that doesn't already have visible tattoos.
  • If you feel hesitant, either about the design or the artist, don't go through with it.

Warnings

  • Some people are against cultural appropriation, where someone takes a meaningful aspect of another's culture and uses it for fashionable reasons. If you are getting a tattoo of a traditional symbol, you should know the meaning and history of that symbol.
  • Laser tattoo removal is very expensive, painful, and time consuming. In most cases it can completely remove tattoos. Tattoo cover-ups are cheaper, but find an artist that specializes in them. It's best to be certain about your design. Think about it. Dwell on it.
Tattoos can get infected, and should be washed and treated as wounds. Follow your artists aftercare instructions.
  • Most tattoos will need touch-ups through your life. Using sunscreen and moisturising daily will help your tattoo look new for years. After 10-30 years, expect to need touch-ups to combat blurring.
  • Be extremely careful when getting Kanji characters as tattoos if you've found the design on the internet or tattoo parlour wall. You may think it means "Peace, love, harmony" but for all you know the characters could be straight off a soy sauce packet, or worse.

How to Choose the Perfect Prom Dress

There are very few times in your life when you get to wear a truly glamorous, jaw-dropping dress. Why not make your prom night one of those times with a beautifully flattering, perfect prom dress? Read on to find out how.

Steps
  • Begin your search for your prom dress early. You may not have a date yet, but you will want to start looking at fashion magazines and stores as early as three to four months before your prom.
  • Plan your budget for your prom dress and begin saving as soon as possible. Be sure to allow extra cash for small accessories like hair clips, panty hose, and make-up.
  • Watch some celebrity red carpet events and take notes on your favorite styles. You may just be able to find a similar prom dress in your local boutique.
  • Try on dresses in a variety of different styles and cuts to find the one that works best for your body. If you have a slim figure, you may look best in a sheath-style dress that shows off your silhouette. If you are curvy, you may want to consider an A-line dress that will highlight your waist and minimize your hips and thighs. If you're short and petite, dress shopping may be a nightmare; cocktail dresses become full gowns and party dresses become cocktail dresses. If you're looking for a longer dress, look for a short dress that is long on you. It will fit better and will fit you everywhere else without being too long.
  • Once you have narrowed your choices to one particular prom dress style, try on that style in a variety of different colors and finishes. Look for a glamorous shade that brings out color in your face. When choosing a fabric finish, keep in mind that shinier finishes will tend to show off figure flaws while matte finishes will obscure and diminish undesirable features.
  • Lay by your dress and then start shopping for shoes and accessories, this should be done in advance of 2 or more months for the Prom or Formal date. This way, if you have chosen shoes and bag you can try it all on together at the Dress Shop, if you change your mind, you can atleast return the nag and shoes if time allows, and you will only have to pay the layby fee rather than getting stuck with an expensive dress no one else would necessarily want.
  • Plan to choose and purchase your prom dress at least four to six weeks before your prom. Most formal gowns (including prom dresses) require alterations for a perfect fit, and you will want to allow enough time to complete these alterations.
  • Make sure that you don't purchase your dress to far in advance, as before big events you can easily loose and gain weight, from stress or anything else, e.g. periods, boyfriend troubles, stress, season (winter vrs Spring).
  • A couple of weeks before your prom, try on your dress with your shoes, jewelry, make-up, and hairstyle to be sure you like the finished look. Walk and move around in your prom dress a little to give it a comfort check.
  • On the night of your prom, put your dress on before applying make-up or styling your hair. This will prevent any make-up smudges or product stains on your perfectly glamorous prom dress.

Tips

  • If the prom issues of fashion and teen magazines have not come out by the time you are ready to start your search, check out some online stores and prom planning sites for ideas. They often have much more information than the typical print magazine and fewer advertisements to wade through.
  • Bring a friend or two along when you are trying on dresses. It is always better to get two or three opinions on such an important purchase.
  • On the other hand, you may want the dress to be a surprise. Or your friends may have a completely different style to you. Instead take your mum with you or even your sister (if she is close to your age or older than you).
  • If you put on your dress before doing hair and make up then drape a towel or put on, and button up, a button up shirt over your dress to prevent make up smudges and accidents with food, drink, make up, hair spray, little brothers, etc.

Warnings

  • Sometimes when shopping with friends, especially for a big item such as a Formal or Prom Dress, they can say it doesn't look good, thought it might, as they want it. So take your mum or sister first, and choose a few dresses, then take friends for final selection.

How to Look Hot on a Date

Looking hot on a date is really about confidence and self-esteem. You don't need an unlimited budget or the perfect body to look good. You just need to know how to work with what you've got! It's true that looks aren't the only important aspect of dating, but they do count. Work with your assets to look hot on a date and "wow" your potential partner.

Steps to follow...

  • Step One
Select an outfit that's well-suited to your body type. If you're a woman with a trim waist and larger hips, for instance, try a belted skirt or pants and avoid straight-cut dresses. If you're a man concerned about the state of your belly, don't try to hide it under a shapeless shirt--try a dark, tailored blazer for a sharp, distinguished look.
  • Step Two
Find out for certain where you're going on your date. A slinky black dress may look hot, but it will be completely inappropriate for a date at the movies or a bowling alley. If your date wants to surprise you, hedge your bets with a pair of sleek but understated black pants, a sexy blouse and a sweater in case you need to cover up. Pressed slacks and a button-up shirt are always safe bets for men.
  • Step Three
Select a hairstyle that will require little to no maintenance during the date. If you want to try something new, make sure that you practice this style in advance.

  • Step Four
Choose jewelry or accessories that convey your personality, but take care not to wear something that was given to you by an ex. Chances are good that your date will compliment your necklace/watch/bracelet/ring and ask where you got it.

  • Step Five
Take a bath or shower as close to the time of your date as possible. If you have a hot date planned for after work, try to schedule time to stop at home first--especially if your job puts you in contact with food, refuse, chemicals or anything else that might be unsanitary or carry odors.
  • Step Six
Moisturize your skin, shave, brush your teeth and style your hair. If you have some extra time, use a loofah to exfoliate your skin in the shower, making it smooth to the touch.
  • Step Seven
Smile! Even if the rest of your look is working, your appearance is nothing without an attractive smile. Use it with eye contact.

Get A Superstar Haircut

It's not the scissors or hair products that make a celebrity's hairstyle so breathtaking. It's the hairstylist, who is often somewhat of a celebrity himself--and rarely will stoop to style ordinary people's hair. Yet you can get superstar hair even without his help, as long as you do your research.

Step One

Find superstar who has hair you love. Chose a celebrity whose overall style is similar to yours if you don't want a drastic makeover. Celebrities with the same coloring and bone structure as you make the best role models. Pay close attention to face shape: if your face is very narrow, the haircut on a fuller-faced actress like Lindsay Lohan might not be flattering.

Step Two

Study your celebrity's hairstyle by going to BeautyRiot.com or using the "Celebrity Hair Finder" tool on iVillage.com. Note how the same cut can be styled into a variety of looks. If possible, determine whether hair extensions and hair jewelry are required for the style.

Step Three

Find a hairstylist in your budget. You don't need to charter a jet to visit the same stylist your favorite celebrity sees, but the barber who buzzes your little brother's scalp might not be a good choice. Choose a fashion-forward salon that caters to a younger clientele. Ask your trendy friends who cuts their hair.

Step Four

Bring multiple photographs of your favorite celebrity's hairstyle to your stylist. Ask whether she can create the same look for you, and if so, what hair treatments will be involved. Often a simple cut and blow-dry will not suffice. Highlights, foils, extensions, straightening or perms may be necessary to give you that star-quality look.

Step Five

Ask your stylist how to maintain your new look once your hair has been re-styled. Purchase any products necessary to upkeep the haircut.

Step Six

Visit your hair salon every 4 to 6 weeks for maintenance unless your stylist indicates otherwise.

Tips & Warnings
  • Maintaining superstar hair is often more expensive and time-consuming than your usual hairdo.
  • If you're on a tight budget or don't have much time to get ready every day, veer away from high-maintenance looks.
